Street pastor Sipho Antony Mbuyisa (43) of Siteki, an alleged serial rapist, has been charged with 10 counts, including murder, rape, robbery and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Mbuyisa appeared before Mbabane Senior Magistrate Sifiso Vialkati yesterday where he elected to conduct his own defence when his legal rights were explained to him.
He was charged with 10 counts of allegedly sexually violating women, robbing them of their valuable items and further assaulting them.
On the first count, he was charged with the murder of Sanele Mhlanga (29) who he allegedly stabbed with a sharp object, inflicting wounds that led to his death. Mbuyisa allegedly committed the offence last Thursday at Mangwaneni.
According to the charge sheet, Mbuyisa raped three different women without using a condom on different occasions.
He allegedly raped a woman from Nkwalini on February 27.
He was charged with contravening the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) Act.
He also faced a similar charge on the third count as he is alleged to have raped a woman at Mangwaneni without using protection.
Mbuyisa was further accused of raping another woman at Checkers without using protection and he was accused of stabbing the woman with a sharp object in both hands and thigh.
On the fifth count, he was charged with robbery in that he unlawfully threatened a woman with a knife and stole items valued at E5 019.
He was also accused of threatening the woman he raped at Checkers with a knife and forcefully took her black Itel cellphone valued at E500.
Mbuyisa was further charged with assaulting a woman he raped with a bushknife and further threatening to stab her for refusing to give him her cellphone valued at E1 100, which he allegedly took anyway.
He was also accused of stabbing a woman on both arms and stole her black Enes cellphone valued at E250.
Mbuyisa was further charged with two counts of GBH in that, near Checkers he allegedly assaulted a woman with a knife in both hands.

He was further charged with stabbing another woman with a knife in both arms at Mangwaneni.
Prosecutor in the matter Muzwandile Nxumalo made an application in terms of section 52 (1) of the Criminal Procedure and Evidence (CPE) Act for the detention of various items that were taken from the accused.
Nxumalo further made an application in terms of Section 342 (1) of the CPE Act that Mbuyisa must have his blood taken at Mbabane Government Hospital for further investigations.
Vilakati granted the orders and remanded Nxumalo into custody until March 21, pending committal to the High Court where he will move his bail application and have his matter tried.
