The Eswatini Events Managers and Promoters Association (EE-MPA) will on the last day of the upcoming Art Summit, unpack critical intricacies of hosting successful events.

EEMPA Secretary General, Banele Dlamini stated that a three-day Art Summit will be held from January 29-31 at the Institute of Development Management (IDM).

He said the last day of the summit would be about the successful hosting of events, awards and festivals.

“We are excited to be on board through an invitation from the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) in hosting artists and creatives on the last day of the summit.

“We will have a panel of five to six experts, who will be facilitating on different topics about the management system of hosting events,” said Dlamini.

He called on all event organisers to attend the summit, saying their participation was crucial.

Management, said he was looking forward to hearing from the hosts what support structures would be made available in terms of mobilising resurces to host events so as to cushion the organisers.

“It would be interesting to find out how sponsorship for the smooth running of events could be stimulated and other things like what transportation options could be made for fun-lovers.
Even though the solutions might not be there, such conversation should be had,” he said.
