DIRECT UPS; YOUR ONE STOP SHOP FOR POWER SOLUTIONS

Two Swazi businessmen have teamed up to establish a company that installs, supplies and maintains electrical commodities.

They are eager to take the industry by storm as regards the trade by offering a whole range of products.

Oscar Walaza Mwanza and Behlule Dlomo are owners of Direct UPS, a company that has attracted big corporates because of the manner they service and meet their needs.

Dlomo stresses that they are motivated by His Majesty King Mswati III’s 2022 vision of seeing the country listed among first world countries and curb unemployment.

“We were driven and motivated by the king’s vision of 2022. We teamed up and felt we should tackle the world of electrical modalities. My partner and I have vast experience acquired during our time as employees of various companies. Our belief is that Swazis are also capable of doing almost everything under the sun, thus the birth of Direct UPS,’’ said Dlomo when speaking from their spacious offices at Lenhle Complex in Sidvwashini Industrial Site. He said their major triumph card were the reasonable prices they offer to members of the public.

“We are lucky because we grew up in Swaziland and know the challenges our people face. We cannot price our products outside the affordability of our people. At Direct UPS, we negotiate with clients for both parties to be happy and content. When it comes to our products, they are among the best,’’ he said confidently.

Dlomo said Direct UPS was initially established as a means of utilising vast technical experience in the UPS industry to provide a cost effective and efficient service which involves supply, installation, repairs and maintenance of various electrical commodities.

He said these included but not limited to UPS’ earthing surge protection, inverters, solar and related power systems. Explaining about his partner, Mwanza, Dlomo said he founded Direct UPS, and with his vast years of experience in the industry, the company has been able to provide an excellent service to clients. Direct UPS now supplies, repairs and maintains a full range of UPs from 1KVA to 600KVA.

“The advantage that we offer all our customers is that with our repair facility at hand, the units we supply have been fully tested to meet the specifications that the units offer. Also, having been involved in repairs of UPS, we have gained a lot of beneficial information on the causes of faults on particular units. This information gave us a firm foundation in selecting an excellent product range.

We firmly believe that a UPS is the most important component of any network or even a single PC. The purpose of the UPS is to supply a clean source of power to the critical computer equipment and in its absence, the functionality of that equipment is not reliable,’’ he said.
