FOLLOWING Ingwenyama’s gift of E33 million to the regiment after their month-long Incwala festivities, Indvuna Finyeza has warned against any attempts to rob Ingaja of their money.
The indvuna said he was aware some Ingaja have registered their tindvuna’s contacts due to not having cellphones.
Upon receiving the money, he urged tindvuna to distribute the full amount to the rightful beneficiaries, stating there was no excuse for deducting any funds, as charges were already included.
“For now, everything is going smoothly, as some are still receiving their payment. We haven’t heard any complaints from Ingaja, and we hope it remains that way.
“It has come to our attention that in previous instances, some took advantage of the younger members, and we command them to do what is right by giving every cent to the young Ingaja," said Indvuna.
Calculations indicate that some members of libutfo will receive up to E3 000 each, depending on their seniority within the regiment.
Indvuna confirmed that Ingaja received E1 000 each, with varying amounts for Tilomo (senior warriors) and Tindvuna.
“Every Ingaja is entitled to E1 000, nothing less. As for Tilomo and Tindvuna, I cannot disclose the exact amounts since I do not have access to their phones or accounts, but I am confident that they received more than the E1 000 allocated to Ingaja,” he stated.
On a similar note the king also gifted the Ingaja with 377 cattle, calendars and food items.
Those requiring to be excused from work were also given letters indicating that they had been assigned to the royal duties for the past few weeks.
