Award-winning musician Young Zesh expressed his ambition for the year, stating that he was working on releasing visuals.
“My top goal in 2025 is to release visuals for most of the songs on my album while I work on international collaborations,” he said.
He stated that he was commited to showcasing his work through music videos, including one for his song ‘Bakhala Ngami’, which he said reflected a deep desire to connect with his audience visually and sonically.
“Without being consistent we would not be here. In 2025, I want to stay consistent and dedicated to the craft as I have been,” he said.
Similarly, musician Judah emphasised on personal growth as a key resolution for the year. He said he aimed to learn from past experiences and evolve his sound.
“I just want to reflect, grow and learn from the good and bad.” “This year, I plan to collaborate with other artists, including Velemseni and Qibho, and this is definitely at the top of my bucket list,” he said.
Judah said his intention was to enhance his stage presence and engage with his audience further illustrating the importance of connection in his artistic practice.
Rapper K. Darrow said his main goal in 2025 was to create more reach through engaging more with fans by performing more, hosting listening sessions and making public appearances at events.
“One of the ways in which i plan on evolving my sound is by using more indigenous instruments in my music, collaborating with local artist and producers, and some producers from other parts of Africa,” he said.
He added that he would like this to be the year where people get to see more of him on stage. “I am willing to work with event organisers and host my own events that people should be on the lookout for. Then eventually a tour after the release of my upcoming album.
I plan on connecting with fans through the music, TV and radio interviews also making appearances on podcast platforms and also local as well as international stages.
My upcoming EP ‘Seeiso’ will be coming out this year which I am very excited about and looking forward to, with a couple of music videos and surprise features,” he said.
