SCARA THINDWA FOUNDATION COMES THROUGH FOR LAMAWANDLA

Soccer- Following the immense investment in the development of local football at grassroots level.

The Scara Thindwa Foundation presented Lamawandla High School with a set of new goal posts and a playing venue within the school’s facility.

The presentation was held at the school’s premises on Friday afternoon, and Lamawandla were the runners up in the boy’s U15 soccer competition.

As their prize the school opted to have the goal posts and the construction of the playing field.
The foundation fulfilled their request as they continue to contribute to the development and the improvement of sports in Eswatini. Eswatini Schools Sports Association (ESSA) Treasurer Lucky Dlamini expressed the appreciation to the foundation for keeping true to their promise. “As the association were are happy to see such a presentation.

This is not going to only benefit the school but it will also benefit the association in terms of the standard of football played. It will also increase the number of venues where we can potentially host our games in the future," he said.

Dlamini further requested the Lamawandla management to ensure that the facility was given the attention that it deserves. He urged the sports teachers to ensure that they continue working tirelessly to ensure that the school secures podium finishes.
