THE year-end thanks-giving prayer saw vigorous praise and worship performances by South African sensation Thinah Zungu alongside a passionate Mandvulo Praise Team.
The thanks-giving prayer took place yesterday at Lozitha Palace, Mandvulo Grand Hall. The service saw many honourable guests dance and sing along to passionate performances from the Mandvulo Praise Team throughout the service, while Zungu watched on. Some of the members who showed their talent and pride for the Kingdom of Eswatini included singers Nothando Hlophe, Amazing Mthethwa, Nhlakanipho Dlamini, Nothando Dlamini and many others as they belted out songs of praise. Prior to the official opening prayer led by Reverend Madudu Mabuza, guests enjoyed songs from the Mandvulo Praise Team, with each of the gospel artists given time to show their talent and praise.
The ministry of home affairs shared their happiness with the praise team’s performance through their official Facebook page. “The Mandvulo Praise Team filled the space with powerful worship songs, setting the perfect atmosphere as the nation gathered to honor and give thanks to God. As we await the arrival of Their Majesties, the spirit of gratitude and unity is truly palpable,” they posted. Thinah Zungu attended the special ceremony as a guest artist, watching the Manvdulo Praise Team perform while awaiting their Majesties arrival.
The ceremony was led by Reverend Nhlanhla Hlatshwayo themed ‘The Power of the Blessing on A Nation’. Spotted in attendance included Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pholile Shakantu, Miss Curve Globe Lucia Simelane-Ochan, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Thulisile Dladla, Taiwanese Ambassador Jeremy Liang and many more. The fashion ranged from traditional regalia to elegant dresses and suits from guests in attendance.
The Mandvulo Praise team looked professional in their purple-themed outfits. Zungu closed the show with a stellar performance, showing how he became popular for his gospel performances. He said he was honoured to be a part of the event. “Sive lesikhulekako.
