The seasoned striker said he had not thrown in the towel in as far as challenging for the league's top goal scorer award, when appreciating his selection as the best player for of the month of March.
“I can start by thanking the sponsor and all those who saw it fit to award me and my teammates for putting all the effort into putting the team where it is today.
“We started badly but we were able to fix things and came back to compete again and being one of the oldest players in the team comes with pressure as at times I have to take the responsibility,” he said.
Mthethwa of Ludzeludze Killers said he would love to see himself in Royal Leopard’s colours when given a chance to play in the Premier League.
“I would love to thank my teammates for being there for me always and encouraging me to do better now I have a trophy in front of me. I would also love to thank MTN for the support of the First Division league.
I want to help my team survive relegation and also score more goals till I become one of the most deadly strikers in the country and when given a chance to play in the Premier League Royal Leopard would be my preferred team,” he said.
