THABANI INQUEST BEGINS TOMORROW

The much awaited inquest into the death of former University of Eswatini (UNESWA) student Thabani Nkomonye will finally begin tomorrow. This comes after government, through acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku, announced the appointment of Senior Magistrate Nonhlanhla Dlamini as coroner to investigate the circumstances leading to the death of Nkomonye. Dlamini has indeed sprung into action and through a notice, she has invited members of the public who may have information regarding the death to register with her clerk tomorrow from 9:30am until 2pm. “Members of the public are informed that the inquest inquiry into the death of Mr Thabani Nkomonye shall commence on the 24th May 2021,” reads part of the notice. Register The public has further been advised to either register in person at the Matsapha Correctional Facility or via WhatsApp through cell: 7678 6080. Nkomonye was reported death last Thursday after he went missing on a Saturday driving his car which was later discovered at Sigodvweni Police station where it was towed to without his body. His body was later found at a distance approximately 25 metres from where his car was found, days after the accident occurred in a bad state. There are several allegations regarding the death of Nkomonye of which the police are suspected to be linked with his death.
