BHOLOJA and precisionist Sanele Simelane visited Mozambique to lend a hand to those who were affected by Cyclone Idai.
According to Bholoja, after hosting a fundraising event, they took the proceeds made and bought food for some of the people who were affected by the cyclone.
He stated that playing at such events had always been something he liked doing. “Helping people has always been something that I love doing. Knowing that I am adding value to someone’s life is fulfilling and I am always willing to do it,” he said. Bholoja also helped distribute food parcels to those who were affected at Ikuru Warehouse.
“Growing up, I was taught that one gets their blessings from helping others.
Natural disasters are unfortunate as we do not plan them. Sanele and I were truly grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to the survivors,” he said.
According to Bholoja, they were not only able to bless them with food parcels but with music as well. He said the people from Ikuru Warehouse danced and enjoyed their performances which also filled their hearts with joy.
He further said this was not the last they helped people in need as they would continue to render help where needed.
