THE Prime Minister Dr Sibusiso Dlamini has returned home from the Republic of China on Taiwan where he was receiving medical attention.

Dlamini left the country two weeks ago in the company of his wife Gugu to seek medical attention.

His trip came a week after he had been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Mbabane Government.

His return was confirmed by government Spokesperson Percy Simelane in a statement.

In the statement, Simelane said the trip was successful and the premier was responding positively to treatment.

“He has responded more positively to the treatment of his team of doctors. On return, the prime minister paid tribute to Their Majesties for blessing his departure to undergo routine medical check-up in Taipei, the government of the Republic of China on Taiwan for arrangements and support, doctors from the Taipei Medical University Hospital for their dedication and professionalism.

He is humbled too by those who wished him speedy recovery through messages and prayers even on his birthday on May 15,” the statement read.

The prime minister left the country on Friday May 11, 2018.
