SOCCER - FORMER Sihlangu coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga says he is waiting for the ‘right offer’ before he returns to coaching.
Bulunga has been out of coaching since he was let go by Green Mamba in October. On Monday, the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) released a statement confirming the departure of Pieter De Jongh from his position as Sihlangu coach with Bulunga already earmarked to replace the Belgian mentor.
When reached for comment on his next move on the same Monday, Bulunga declined to comment on Sihlangu specifically while adding that he was waiting for the right offer to make his return to coaching.
“I cannot comment on Sihlangu until there is something concrete to talk about. However, I am a football person and the fact that I am currently not coaching anywhere does not mean I have turned my back on the sport. I have had offers and most of them I have turned down.
“I am available; I am just waiting for the right offer, an offer that will have the right conditions for me to work in,” Bulunga said.
Bulunga was unceremoniously let go as Sihlangu coach by the National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) in 2016 after he had led the national side to a 3rd place finish in the COSAFA Cup of that year.
