BRING ON THE WEEKEND!

The weekend is here once again bringing on the fun and night time life.

There is hardly a boring weekend in the country as there is lots to do everywhere you go. The launch of Brussels Lounge last Sunday proves just how the entertainment scene continues to grow each day with the hope to bring fun-lovers a beautiful experience.
While there are some venues making a comeback, others new and others still consistent, patrons can look forward to a variety of events this weekend.
‘Play For The City’ at 23: 28 Lounge is ready to welcome you and yours as well as Friday Afterwork Groove at IF’s Lounge and TGIF at the Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama.

TODAY
Dance Social
Where: Luxy Gardens
Time: 7pm until late
If you are looking for a different fun experience then this dance social is for you. A ballroom dance experience is about creating fun, quality interaction with those around you and this will be indeed one you will not want to miss out on. The event will have you in awe with Bachata, the kizomba and salsa.

Luxury Fridays
Where: Mega Lounge
Time: 5pm until late
If you thought Mega Lounge was going to go down without a fight, think again. The venue is up and ready to host you and yours for an unforgettable night life experience. This weekend they bring you none other than one of the most loved spinners locally Zulu D, who will play alongside Linga3ss and Proness as headlining acts. They will be supported by Sleezy, Percy, DJ Sleeq, Emkay, BK and Bab’Dlamini.

Friday Afterwork Groove
Where: IF’s Lounge Mbabane
Time: 7pm until late
The IF’s Lounge Mbabane presents ‘Friday Afterwork Groove’ with Wordsmithflex. The venue best known for its consistency in hosting and promoting local talent on a weekly basis is back doing it again. Catch him as he delivers a fire set. He will be joined by M.P.H.O and Lamentic Soula. Do remember to show up in your best smart casual fit as per dress code requirement.

TGIF
Where: The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama
Time: 6pm until late
The X-change Lounge and Shisanyama is inviting patrons and fun-lovers to join them for the ‘Thank God It’s A Friday’ event. The event as per usual has a smart casual theme to it. The venue will be alive with music, food and other fun things to do such as swimming. Playing tonight will be the venues resident DJs.

Bar Bliss Fridays
Where: Elawini Lodge
Time: 6pm until late
Hush Papi and DJ Mavi are back at it at Elawini Lodge today. The duo must have thrilled so much last Friday that they had to host them together yet again as the main acts. The two are set to take fun-lovers on a musical journey through their sets. The two will be supported by resident DJs. Put on your favourite shoes and go have a time of your life. Look out for some specials on the night.

Balcony Groove
Where: Ocean Cuisine
Time: 5pm until late
There is no groove better than a balcony set up ambience. Ocean Cuisine opens its doors to artists Eimsofly, Sweet Shandis, Knoxman, Tidal Deep, Lamentic Soula, Bay Bash and Acoustic Soul. Fun will be had here as the music set to play will take fun-lovers into an electric night. There are drinks on special which will make the night worth your while.

Play For The City
Where: 23:28 Lounge
Time: 6pm until late
DJ Mbo and DJ Tibza bring you another edition of their ‘Play For The City’ events. The event which started last year has gained a number of patrons which proves the concept by the two spinners is loved and appreciated. Deep house spinner Jazzinsoul is the headlining act tonight. The spinner who also has his own event ‘Soul Kishin Cookout’ has hardly performed much this year, hence his anticipated to thrill.

TOMORROW
Show Your Legs
Where: Ehawini Lifestyle
Time: 3pm until late
Culolam will be the man of month at Ehawini Lifestyle as he takes control of the residency. He is set to bring fun to the venue as an experienced events organiser. This weekend his hosting a ‘Show Your Legs’ event that requires fun-lovers to show up in shorts, please don’t be a spoiler. Playing on the night will be Culolam, Sgitha, Knoxman, Genes Of The Vibe, 1D and resident spinners.

Saturdays Meet Corona
Where: The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama
Time: 4pm until late
The Corona dubbed event will be underway Reke as the headlining act. He will be supported by the venues DJs who are set to liven up the stage for their main performer. The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama will be defined by some music, fun and a special of Corona. Do not miss out on all the fun as Reke brings you the hottest tracks from his compiled set.

Sip and Dip
Where: Elawini Lodge
Time: 12pm until late
The ambience will be different at Elawini Lodge and you will not want to miss out on this one. Attendees have been requested to arrive dressed in bikinis for ladies and shorts for men. The beach aesthetics will be theme of the event. The venue will serve cocktails and other drinks as part of the theme. Playing on the decks will be Hush Papi, Keiisy, Miss Lwah and and DJ Mavi.

Relaxed Saturdays
Where: The Garden’s
Time: 2pm until late
If you a looking to relax and have good time then this one is for you. Manzini, Fairview people stand up because Proness will be in the building. He will be lighting the stage on fire alongside Astrowaves, Zoba, Bunnyrabbit, Junior and Mdura. Besides music, good food and a great ambience is what fun-lovers can look forward to.

Party On A Saturday
Where: Ocean Cuisine
Time: 2pm until late
It’s on this Saturday at Ocean Cuisine that has curated a stellar line-up. The venue will be on fire with some of the best in local spinners. Set to make you and your friends dance the night away are Culolam, Lady Zee, Bandora, Ayacity, Sgitha, Zulu D and Paris.

Hangout Saturdays
Where: Brussels Lounge
Time: 6pm until late
After an exceptional launch last Sunday, Brussels Lounge is ready to welcome fun-lovers to yet another event. The venue will host some of Sunday’s who were loved by the crowd such as Bandora who played a killer hip-hop set as well as Fantacy. Joining them will be Sweet Shandis, Bhekzin, Tidal Deep and Shabza.

SUNDAY
RnB Sundays
Where: Elawini Lodge
Time: 2pm until late
There is no better Sunday vibes like the one’s delivered by DJ Sixo. As the special guest the spinner is expected to serenade fun-lovers to chilled rnb and old skool songs. Best known for his impeccable selections, this event will be one not to be missed. He will be joined by Sphiwoshort to do the most on soul and jazz with a live band. Resident DJs will also be part of the performing acts.

Silky Sunday
Where: The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama
Time: 1pm until late
After headlining last weekend’s ‘Silky Sunday’ alongside Jozi FM presenter Refiloe Motsei, EBIS presenter and DJ JT will on Sunday take to the stage with your favourite DJ Bisto. Together they are expected to deliver the best of Sunday blues to be enjoyed by all. They will be joined by the lounges resident DJs.
