SOCCER - THE much-anticipated Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals draw has been postponed to Monday.
Initially, the draw was scheduled to take place at the SMVA Headquarters yesterday but it has now been shifted to Monday.
This is according to a press statement released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) yesterday.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, but please be informed that the Ingwenyama Cup last 4 draw has been postponed to Monday. We will provide an update on the time in due course," reads the statement.
The PLE has cited the need for further preparations as the reason for the postponement.
Ingwenyama Cup PRO Nkosilenhle 'Makawosi' Masuku explained that due to the busy schedule of the PLE office, they had decided to move the draw to Monday.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we want to ensure that everything is in order for the highly-anticipated semi-finals draw," said Masuku.
The Ingwenyama Cup is one of the most prestigious football tournaments in Eswatini.
The four teams that have qualified for the Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals include Mbabane Swallows, Moneni Pirates, Young Buffaloes and Royal Leopard.
