ALL ROADS LEAD TO ‘THE FIRST ASSEMBLY’

ALL roads lead to one of the most anticipated events of the year dubbed ‘First Assembly’, hosted at Mega Lounge tomorrow.

The event has made a name for itself through successful editions held in previous years. This year, they are back at it with a stellar line-up inclusive of South African hit-makers.

The weekend is looking livelier than ever as Ehawini Lifestyle will also host Blaq Diamond. If that is not your vibe, worry not as your other venues remain consistent in their weekend gigs.

This weekend will also present the last edition of the Filim Sho-Case at the Eswatini Theatre Club. One will also have the chance to praise in the Lord at an picnic vibe setting dubbed Grace Gathering to host gospel sensationalist.  Do the most to enjoy the weekend!

TODAY
Play For The City
Where: 23:28 Lounge
Time: 6pm until late
‘Play For The City’ season two will be underway with your favourite renowned DJs Mbo and Tibza. This time the duo will be joined by Uncle Karly who will take-over as the main performing act. The night promises great fun, with a taste of some classic mixed songs from the highly experienced spinners. You will not want to miss out on an awesome evening.

Polar Friday
Where: Polar Park
Time: 7pm until late
It’s another weekender at Polar Park today. The venue is up and ready to welcome fun-lovers for an awesome night out. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Polar Park Reloaded with performances from Fantacy, Ayacity, Spin Dr Magic, Drum Rhythm and the Best Duo. Keep a look out for some enticing drinks on special.

Groovy Friday
Where: New Life Lounge
Time: 6pm until late
Come one, come all at New Life Lounge where DJ Fantacy will be the headlining act to usher fun-lovers into a night of fun. Although first schooled in the house music genre: from soulful to deep, Fantacy who has grown to play a number of other music genres across the board is set to deliver a fire set. He will be supported by Zoleka, Cedrik, Apex and Bones.

Friday Groove
Where: IF’s Lounge (Moneni)
Time: 6pm until late
TK will be the leading act ushering fun-lovers into the ‘Friday Groove’ at IF’s Lounge. The spinner who sometimes doubles as an MC is set to take the night to great heights with his set. Join him and dance the night away with his exciting house sounds. Featured on the line-up is Yamkela, Mistosoul and Acoustic Soul. Be sure to attend the event dressed in your smart casual wear.

Back To School Party
Where: Ocean Cuisine
Time: 6pm until late
Make a stop at the Riverstone Mall in Manzini for an amazing night of music and fun times. Ocean Cuisine will be hosting their ‘Back To School Party’. To take the stage tonight will be DJs Sbu De Drum DJ, Paris, Maradona, Junior De DJ and Lil D. If you and your friends are looking for a great balcony experience then this is the one. Do make sure you look the part in the themed school uniform.

Pub Night
Where: Brussels Lounge
Time: 6pm until late
Experience vibrant vibes, exquisite cocktails, and delicious bites at Brussels Lounge. Situated at Palm Beach Centre in Manzini the venue is ready to lead you to a night of groove. Thando's throwing the ultimate pub night and everyone is invited. Get down with the hottest beats by UrCousinPhayo, supported by the incredible SS Entertainment DJs. Beer Night

It is time to get a full on experience with ‘Beer Night’ at the X-change Lounge and Shisanyama. The event requires attendees to dress in smart casual theme. The venue will be alive with music, food and other fun things to do. On the decks delivering the best in music with spinners Teesto, Bandora, Soulsticks, Black, Bisto, Daza, Sweet Shandis and Cnatra.
Friday Afterwork Groove
Where: IF’s Lounge (Mbabane)

If hip-hop is your vibe then, this one is for you. Schooled by one of the best DJs Supa CDQ and other exceptional spinners, Wassabee will take to the stage to deliver a fire hip-hop and rnb set. She is set to get fun-lovers into the groovy mood with here promising fire set. She will be joined by Skeezy and M.P.H.O also aniticipated to take the night to a greater heights.

TOMORROW
The First Assembly

The First Assembly is the place to be, and it just keeps getting better. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable experience as the event will welcome the electrifying Mawelele, famously known as Romeo ‘The Ladies’ Man.’ The event will also be headlined by ‘Yashi Imoto’ hitmaker Uncool MC. Don’t miss your chance to sing, vibe, and create memories at the First Assembly! They will be supported by Zulu D, Ayacity, President, Selby, Sgitha, Young Zesh and many more.

Blaq Diamond Night
Where: Ehawini Lifestyle
Time: 6pm until late
Ehawini Lifestyle will welcome February ‘The Month of Love’ with South African Duo Blaq Diamond as the main acts.
The two are anticipated to set the pace at the venue, creating that ‘romantic vibe’ for the month. They are set to entice music fanatics with their heartfelt songs.
They will be supported by Lady Zee, Sbu De Drum DJ, ItsAllBlaq, Knoxman, DJ Cup, Bandora and Tilungu.

Filim Sho-Case
Where: Eswatini Theatre Club
Time: 3pm
Filim Sho-Case is back again this coming Saturday with the film A Choice of Weapon: Inspired by Gordon Parks.
Best known for his iconic portraits of everyday Black Americans in all their pain, ordinariness and glory, photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks shot everything from fashion to Malcolm X, Gloria Vanderbilt and Muhammed Ali. Long time photographer and first African American on the staff of Life magazine, Parks captured the deep humanity of anyone fortunate enough to be in front of his lens.

Friends Of Corona
Where: The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama
Time: 6pm until late
Corona beer, a Mexican-born brew with a distinct flavour and iconic branding, continues in its efforts to leave an indelible mark in the industry. Xchange Lounge will host an event to promote the beer which will be on sale.
Sbu De Drum DJ will be the main act of the day.
He will be joined on stage by Teesto, Soulsticks, Black, Bisto, Cnatra, Carro, bandore, Sweet Shandis and Daza.

Grace Gathering
Where: King Sobhuza Memorial Park (Lobamba)
Time: 12pm until late
Go and experience a day of praise, worship, and community to celebrate faith through the power of music.
You won’t want to miss this uplifting day time Christian picnic. Set to perform at the event are Shekinah Motsa, Gabriel Dlamini and Mzayoni. Mzwakhe Khumalo, affectionately known as Tjovitjo, will stand as the dynamic Master of Ceremonies.

SUNDAY
Sunday Soul Cookout
Where: Brussels Lounge
Time: 9am
Bussels Lounge welcomes food and fun lovers to their ‘Sunday Soul Cookout’ which will serve amazing traditional food. Join them as they give you a taste of their Sunday servings.
That is not all to look forward to as the venue will host Fantasy featuring Expo on the decks and will be supported by Bhekzin and Mafaka to provide the best sound.

Silky Sunday
Where: The Xchange Lounge and Shisanyama
When: 2pm until late
Headlining the ‘Silky Sunday’ event will be Bisto and Bhekzin. The two will set the tone for the day that’s referred as ‘Sunday are for lovers’ with their soulfully blended music.
They will be supported by Teesto, Bandora, Soulsticks, Black, Cnatra, Lord Ncongo and Dazza.
