WANDERERS MC OFFCIAL ACCUSED OF SELLING PLAYERS

By Melusi Mlotsa | 2024-12-23

SOCCER – With the status quo of the club still in limbo, Manzini Wanderers’ top official has been accused of wanting to sell two players behind the management committees back.

The name of the official cannot be revealed for now as they are still going to appear before the MC. Reports suggest that the duo of Sisekelwe and Malwande has been offered to one of the Mbabane-based teams during the January transfer window.

Sources close to the matter revealed that the players have been already requested by the Mbabane-based team through the FIFA connect system with the assistance of the official.

Wanderers MC Chairman Wellington Motsa could not be reached as he was reportedly in South Africa. However, general manager Jabulani Dlamini sent a stern warning to the top official. “We are aware that there are some official within the club who are taking advantage of the fact that we are not playing.

“Actually, some of the players are sold to other clubs under the guise that they are going on loan and they never come back.

“We would like to warn those who are doing that illicit act to stop. We are a premier league club. We will soon take an action if that continues,” he said.

The hub giants are yet to kick football this season due to their ongoing court case.
However, there are possibilities that the team will participate in the SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup next month.
