SOCCER- The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) has extended their heartfelt wishes to all players, administrators, stakeholders, and fans during the Christmas holidays.

This is according to a press statement released by PLE executive committee urging the safety and well-being of everyone during this time.

“We look forward to welcoming you all back in the new year in good health and spirits.
“We sincerely thank all teams and fans for their continued support, good behaviour, and commitment to fair play throughout the season. Your dedication to the beautiful game has been truly inspiring, and we appreciate your positive contribution to the Premier League,” reads the statement.

The Exco thanked all the sponsors for the season as they looked ahead to the second half of the current campaign.

“Looking ahead to the second leg of the season, we remain deeply grateful to our sponsors MTN Eswatini, SMVA (Ingwenyama Cup) and 8Bet for their unwavering support of football in Eswatini. We continue to encourage good behaviour from our fans and emphasise the importance of respect, fair play and sportsmanship from all players,” further reads the statement.

PLE further reminded all players that are prohibited from participating in any social games during the festive season. Players are only encouraged to engage in other forms of fitness and wellness activities to maintain their health and readiness for the second half of the season.

“As we enjoy this break, we remind all Premier League players that while we acknowledge the positive impact of football in our communities, they are prohibited from participating in any social games during this period.
“However, we encourage them to engage in other forms of fitness and wellness activities to maintain their health and readiness for the second half of the season,” reads the statement.
