WE ARE WORKING TO NORMALISE SITUATION - BULL PATRONS

By Mgcini Dube | 2024-11-17

SOCCER- IN the midst of managerial predicaments faced by capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders Patrons Chairman Thembinkhosi Mamba says they are working tireless to normalize the situation

Mamba shared these sentiments during the Eswatini Broadcasting Information Services (EBIS) Radio Sports Show yesterday morning stating that the relevant structures were doing everything to normalise the situation in the bull’s camp.

He said what was happening to the club was not good and it was the major reason they were unable to grind out the results that they wanted this season. He said Highlanders should stay put and hope that things finally happen in the end.

“We just need to sit down and iron out differences we can not resolve things by fighting. We are not resting, as the patrons we are work towards making sure team gets backits normal state.

We need to be patient with the situation, and mine is to plead with the supporters to give us time. In the event we fail to reach common ground with the director the Highlanders family at large will then take a decision,” he said.

He said an unfortunate instance was that they then could not give the director a mandate on what they were expecting from him because they would be misunderstood each other after the agreements were made.

“Kgomogwe was given a duration of five years to run the team but as time went on he suggested that the club was registered as a company which we approved and successfully did because of the reason that he gave and to make his working conditions easier.

He was granted 80 per cent while the other 20 per cent was then split among the patrons and supporters. This means we cannot force him out as the rightful director of the club,” he said.
