SOCCER - THE international duo of Justice Figuareido and Lindo Mkhonta have reported to Sihlangu's full-time camp ahead of the match against Mozambique on Friday.
The game will be played at Zimpeto Stadium, Mozambique in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.
This was confirmed by Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Marketing and Communications Manager Muzi Radebe yesterday morning.
He said the aforementioned players had joined the rest of the team, that has been hard at training under the guidance of head coach Zidravko Lugarusiq.
“The players are all in good shape, preparing for the assignment against Mozambique. We can confirm that all the players who were called up are now in camp as preparations intensify. We are certain that the team will get positive results as we plead with the nation to rally behind the team,” he said.
It has also been gathered that the squad will leave the country tomorrow. They will then travel to Mbombela, South Africa upon return for their home match against Mozambique next Monday. The nation’s pride remains rock-bottom on log standings in Group I, and they are yet to record a win.
