FORMER minister, lobbyist, facilitator, educator, entertainment and art consultant Macford Sibandze says he still remains relevant in the entertainment industry.
Sibandze, who elevated the entertainment sector, continues to be recognised for his role.
He has been selected as one of the speakers in the Eswatini Clothing Brand Awards (ECBAWARDS) to be hosted on October 19 at Bethel Court Hotel, starting from 4pm to 8pm.
The event aimed at celebrating local fashion entrepreneurs, will feature guests such as international speaker and award-winning author Colisile Tfwala, recording and performing artist Thamsanqa KrTC Sibandze, global speaker and columnist Clement Dlamini, as well as ECBAWARDS executive and business psychologist Mfundo Shongwe.
Sibandze expressed his excitement in being part of the prestigious event as one of the speakers.
“I am truly honoured to have been invited to grace such an event as a speaker.
It really means a lot to me and validates my relevance in the forever-changing industry.
It is quite overwhelming to still be recognised in this generation as I thought they had forgotten about me.
The invitation solidifies the hard work I have put in, in making a name for myself in the industry that it surely did not go to vain and for that I am really grateful,” he said.
Sibandze said he would be touching on a number of subjects with relevance and sustainability being his main focus.
“At the ceremony, I will basically be speaking on how one can sustain themselves in the forever-changing entertainment industry. I will also touch on how one can remain relevant in the industry by sharing a few tips that would really help people,” he said.
On the other hand, the Co-founder and Marketing Executive of Eswatini Clothing Brand Awards Mfundo Shongwe urged people to attend the show.
“People should come in their numbers as the show will be filled with beautiful and unforgettable experiences. People will be empowered by the speakers and get an opportunity to network with household names in the industry,” he said.
Tickets to the show cost E250 per person for general and E400 for VIP, which includes Eswatini Clothing Brand Awards merchandise.
