SISONKHE SECURE EBET SPONSORSHIP DEAL

By Melusi Mlotsa | 2024-09-18

SOCCER – DAWN of a new era.
MTN Premier League of Eswatini newcomers Sisonkhe have secured a valuable sponsorship deal with commercial partner eBet for the 2024/25 season.

The announcement was made during a press conference held yesterday afternoon at Manzini Club, marking a significant milestone for the club, as they embark on their debut season in the top flight.

The deal includes a full kit, both home and away, along with soccer boots, tracksuits, water, caps and other essential equipment.

The sponsorship announcement was delivered by eBet Marketing Manager Nokwazi Shongwe, who expressed excitement about the partnership and the company's commitment to support local football.

“We are always present for sports and are looking forward to working with Sisonkhe. I can assure you, more good things are coming. We are born to win, as our slogan says. Thank you for the exposure, and if you experience any problems, we are ready to help,” she said.

Sisonkhe Chairman Samuel Motsa expressed gratitude to eBet for backing the club, especially as a newly-promoted team.

“We really appreciate eBet for betting with us against all odds. We are the lowest-ranked team, but we promise quality performance. We want our players to play with confidence and play football the right way. Premier League might be new to us, but we are here to compete, not just to make up the numbers. We will compete fearlessly,” he said.

Motsa also welcomed the club’s new signings, highlighting that they were the ‘missing puzzles’ needed to strengthen the squad. He called on fans to support the team by filling up stadiums and expressed optimism for a fruitful partnership with eBet.

Sisonkhe's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ntokozo Hlatshwako echoed Motsa’s sentiments, adding that the sponsorship marked the beginning of a new chapter for the club.

“It’s the birth of success. This partnership will motivate the players, and we hope for a successful season. We will definitely compete,” Hlatshwako said.

The club also announced eight new signings as part of their preparations for the new season, including Lunga Ndlovu, Melusi Mkhwanazi, Sibane Mdluli, Mlandvo Tsabedze, Lungelo Simelane, Mangaliso Dube, Vusi Mavuso and Makhosi Mtetwa.

As Sisonkhe look ahead to their inaugural season in the Premier League, the partnership with eBet provides a solid foundation for success and growth in Eswatini’s top-tier football.
