By Nokwanda Sibandze | 2020-10-23

URBAN Entertainment will host three different music tours with the first being Amapiano Summer Fest Tour.

This was confirmed by Founder of Urban Entertainment Paul Vilanculo yesterday.

Urban Entertainment is a company with the objective of promoting and hosting international events with extensive experience in the agency, organisation, hosting management of shows and festivals currently based in the city of Maputo.

The entertainment stable has hosted many events in the country and many others in Mozambique and Botswana.

According to Vilanculo, the dates of the tours will be announced as soon as they are  confirmed.  “The second tour will feature Gaba Cannal, SoulfulG and Soamattrix of ‘Uthando’ fame,” he said. He said the third tour would feature Kelvin MoMo alongside Babalwa. “We have a special artist announcement for all tours,” he said.

The stable has also brought Mozambican artists in the country countless number of times. These artists have perfumed at the Tatoo Festival held in Ezulwini and many other places.

Vilancula said he was proud of how the company has been growing as they have managed to penetrate the international music industry by hosting events in different countries and taking artists from different countries to perform in other countries.

He also said they have been able to collaborate with many artists in Southern Africa and they believed they were still to cover more ground.
