OUTSTANDING 50/50 DOUBLE CELEBRATION

The nation was on Thursday gathered at Mavuso Sports Centre, Manzini celebrating the Golden Jubilee with their majesties and entertainers dished out brilliant performances from dancers to singers.

Starting the show was the USDF Brass band with a beautiful parade. Highlights of the day were the air show by Puma Garage aircrafts and the newly bought Siyinqaba state jet flew over several times.

Veteran artist Mshikish thrilled their majesties and the national at large when he took over the arena with his energetic moves. He literally owned the arena as he moved from one side to the other singing and dancing in his popular red costume. He took over the arena with his hit song ‘Maswati lamahle’.

He performed three song and later performed with the pupils from different school as they did can African dance. Also Nomsa M gave a beautiful rendition of the Swati famous song, ‘ Uyang’luma’ and danced. It would not have been the country’s big celebration without good performances from Lustango, Umiso and Sibhaca which were lead by Prince Lindani and Bandzile. Combined pupils from different school thrilled their Majesties and nation when they performed Cultural Spheres which was basically an African Dance routine. Art was literally displayed in the arena.
