SWAZI born rapper Haem O featured one of South Africa’s controversial yet award winning rappers Emtee.
The song ‘I wanna be rich’ remix was recorded last year October in Randburg and was released last month.
Questioned on how he got hold of Emtee, the Swazi born rapper said: “I've known Emtee since 2014 whilst recording in the same studio. I just gave him a call and he was cool with getting on the song.”
However the rapper said it was a bit of a challenge getting Emtee into the studio due to his tight schedule but it eventually happened and the remix of his original song ‘I wanna be rich’ was released.
The remix was released under CIA Music Records, a new label that Haem O signed with last year in November.
It has already debuted on reputable stations like Ligwalagwala and Gagasi FM.
The rapper said he was not a die-hard fan of collaborations since his main focus is perfecting his own sound: “I'm not that big on collaborations, so it has just been producers that I work with the most, that's KnifeBeatz, AJM and Khosh.
I think I'll have a few artists that I can't name for now as I am working on my debut album ‘Finally Found’ due out before the year ends.”
