GABRIEL GOSHEN REJOINS ‘BULL’

By Qondile Ntiwane | 2018-02-23

SOCCER – ESTRANGED Nigerian born midfielder Gabriel Goshen has rejoined Mbabane Highlanders.

Goshen was recently put on transfer by the black and white ensemble following a fall-out with management after the departure of then coach Alou Badara.

The midfielder started training with the team on Wednesday in preparation for the SwaziBank Cup grand opening on Sunday where they will play Moyeni FC in the first game of the day.

Information gathered is that the former Tambuti star had ironed out his differences with the team and was also given another go by the team’s South African-born Coach Mlungisi ‘Professor’ Ngubane.

The team’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini confirmed the matter when sought for comment yesterday.

“Yes, Goshen is back with Highlanders and has started training with the squad.

He met with management and all pending issues with him were sorted out,” he said.

The CEO also noted that winger Mlamuli ‘Mlaba’ Nkambule had started light training and would hopefully be fit and ready in time for the game on Sunday.

“We have also welcomed back Mlaba who has been out due to a groin injury.

We will however wait for a late fitness test to determine his readiness for the game on Sunday,” he said.

Dlamini then invited the team’s supporters to come and rally behind the team on the day.

“We have said it before we want the Swazi Bank Cup and our journey towards achieving this goal starts on Sunday. We have an injury free squad and we are looking at nothing but advancing to the next stage of the tournament,” he said.
