DeltaPay has announced its partnership with the 2025 Market Lounge Expo, which is an event focused on elevating businesses, expanding their networks and unleashing the transformative power of collaboration.
Scheduled for March 29 at the Albert Millin in Mbabane, the expo will serve as a platform for showcasing cashless payment convenience for businesses and individuals
As the official digital payment partner, DeltaPay will provide its payment platform as the primary and only payment method at the event.
This initiative enables businesses to accept payments and individuals to make payments by scanning a QR code.
It is designed to enable both vendors and customers to conduct transactions securely and efficiently.
Through this partnership, the Market Lounge Expo aims to highlight the advantages of transitioning to a cashless society.
By requiring all participants to register for a DeltaPay account, the event signifies a community-wide push to reduce reliance on cash and embrace digital payment methods, enhancing transactional security and convenience.
Swazi Lounge Executive Director Fisokuhle Khumalo expressed their excitement about the partnership.
"We are incredibly grateful to DeltaPay for partnering with Market Lounge Expo to drive digital payments inclusion. Through DeltaPay, entrepreneurs and attendees will demonstrate their technology-driven financial services, ultimately improving operations, financial management, and customer experience,” he said.
Khumalo said they looked forward to seeing how their exhibitors and attendees leverage this opportunity to propel their businesses forward on their entrepreneurial journeys.
DeltaPay’s Chief Executive Officer Adrian Koch said they were also excited to partner with Market Lounge Expo and to be part of this innovative journey that empowers small businesses and promotes cashless transactions in the country.
Koch said by providing small businesses with the tools they needed to succeed in the digital economy, they were helping create a more efficient and inclusive financial environment.
Koch said they were also promoting the growth of local businesses through a more modern and cashless society.
In addition to facilitating secure transactions, DeltaPay will have two dedicated booths at the expo, with one at the entrance for withdrawals and cash deposits and another inside for sign-ups and support.
At the support booth, business owners will receive on-site assistance and learn about the benefits of integrating cashless payment methods into their operations.
The deposit and withdrawal booth will allow attendees to top up their DeltaPay wallet as they enter the venue, also allowing them to withdraw their funds should they wish to do so before leaving the event.
All attendees who complete transactions using DeltaPay will automatically be entered into a raffle draw.
The initiative offers an exciting opportunity to win up to E3 000 in cash prizes, making every purchase an entry towards a substantial reward.
This strategy is designed to encourage both consumers and vendors to embrace the cashless payment system throughout the event.
