IT is two days until the biggest house music festival seen in the country takes place and the excitement is palpable.
The House Musiq Festival (HMF) set to take place this Saturday at Manzini Club, will welcome house music fans and other music enthusiast from every city, to witness some of the best in the music industry and an unforgettable experience for everyone attending.
SwaziBoy Entertainment Public Relations Officer (PRO) Nduduzo ‘Dankos’ Nkonyane called on all house music fans to join them for what will be the best edition.
Starting at 12pm the event will welcome one of the headlining acts DJ China from South Africa to takeover the decks for a three hour set.
He will be followed by local acts thereafter with Ndumz taking over at 6:45pm set to bring her vibrant sets fused traditional African rhythms with modern house beats.
Bringing a layer of depth to the lineup June Jazzin takeover at 8:30pm followed by one of the most anticipated acts Monique Bingham at 9:30pm.
Dankos confirmed that the show would go on until the morning. Brandon Dhludhlu and Vinny Da Vince will play before 12am opening the stage for Oscar Mbo who will play for die-hard house fans from 12:25am . Thakzin is anticipated to elevate the experience even more thereafter.
“Things are all set and we are ready to host fun-lovers at what will be the best event yet with a hot line-up of acts from as far as the United States of America (USA) and South Africa (SA). Delivering the best in musical genres, the crowd will be treated to the most poignant, soulful jazz-infused house music they are sure to enjoy,” he said.
Dankos confirmed that tickets were selling faster as the event drew nearer, advising interested attendees to get their tickets before they sell out on computicket .
