By Xolisile Sacolo | 2025-03-10

Soccer - Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Football Manager Banele 'Dingz' Masondo confirmed that only 1 000 tickets were remaining for the highly anticipated Ingwenyama Cup semi-final, set to take place tomorrow at Mavuso Sports Centre.

Masondo revealed that ticket sales were moving rapidly, with fans eager to witness the thrilling encounters.

“The tickets have been selling since we made them available, and last we checked, there were about 1 000 tickets left. The response has been great and we are looking forward to having a full stadium on Monday,” he said.

He further encouraged fans to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of missing out on match day. He also revealed that there would be a gazebo designated for ticket sales outside the stadium for those who still needed to secure their seats.

The encounter between Mbabane Swallows and Moneni Pirates is expected to be a spectacle.
Swallows, with their rich history and numerous accolades, they come into the match as one of the tournament favourites.

Known for their tactical prowess and skilled squad, they are determined to book their spot in the final.

However, Moneni Pirates are no strangers to the pressures of knockout football. With a solid squad and a reputation for causing upsets, they are eager to exploit any weaknesses in Swallows’ defence. Fans can expect a fierce battle filled with energy, passion and top-tier football.

The first semi-final will be just as intense, as Young Buffaloes take on Royal Leopard. Buffaloes have showcased resilience and determination throughout the tournament, earning their semi-final spot with disciplined performances.

Their ability to defend and counter-attack has set them apart, and they will need to be at their best to overcome the experienced Leopard side.

Royal Leopard, known for their tactical discipline and athleticism, have a strong track record in local competitions.

Their blend of experience and youthful energy could prove decisive as they aim to outplay Buffaloes and book their place in the final.

With only 1 000 tickets remaining, fans are urged to secure theirs early and avoid missing out on what promises to be an unforgettable day of football at Mavuso Sports Centre.
