THE Municipal Council of Mbabane CEO, management and staff took part in a Back-to-School campaign aimed at supporting pupils in the city with resources and initiatives to help them start the new calendar successfully.
This campaign is part of a broader effort by the council to ensure that pupils, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, have access to necessary school supplies and other resources required for a smooth transition into the school year.
Led by the CEO Gciniwe Fakudze, council employees were dressed in school uniform and donated stationery, shoes, school bags and other school accessories.
“Beneficiaries will be pupils from our indigents register which is updated continuously,” said Fakudze. The municipality requested other businesses to support this initiative.
