MANDVULO PRAISE TEAM SHINES BEFORE THEIR MAJESTIES, NATION

By DEO GRATIAS MAGAGULA | 2025-01-27

THE beginning of the year service at Mandvulo Grandhall at Lozitha was a powerful celebration of faith, where some of the country’s most talented gospel stars came together as part of the Mandvulo praise team to lead a moving praise and worship service on Saturday.

Among the notable performers were Nothando Hlophe, Nothando Dlamini, Nelly Siwela, Psalmist Nhlakanipho Dlamini, Amazing Mtsetfwa and Tanele Mnisi.

The hall was filled to capacity with the presence of Their Majesties and former South African president Jacob Zuma  as the nation gathered to witness a momentous occasion.

The gospel artists, alongside their talented worship team, guided the audience through a spiritually uplifting experience. The worship team, beautifully coordinated in lavender dresses for the women and grey suits for the men, added a sense of unity.

Gospel artist Psalmist Nhlakanipho Dlamini said it was an honour to be part of such a significant occasion.

“It’s a great privilege and an honour to be part of the worship team leading the nation,” he expressed.

“It’s a very rare opportunity, and I’m always in awe and nervous because of the greatness of the gathering, especially with Their Majesties present and the entire nation watching.

More than anything, the privilege to declare praises to the living God on such a stage is beyond words.”

The ‘Let Your Glory Rise’ singer went on to highlight the profound significance of the event, not just for the present moment but also for the future of the nation.

“It really affirms to me that God is true. He declared this nation to be a pulpit of Africa. Seeing such a gathering gives us faith that God speaks, and it comes to pass. This tells me that there’s a revival coming to the nation,” he said.

He also shared his hopes for Eswatini, praying for peace and urging the nation to unite in prayer, saying through prayer, the country’s destiny can be shaped.

Joseph, the lead guitarist, offered insight into the extensive preparations that made the event a success.

“A lot of work was put in when preparing for the day, both spiritually and physically,” he explained.

“As a team, we meet to pray and rehearse well in advance. I feel honoured and very grateful to be part of the team.”

Joseph shared how fulfilling it was to lead people into the presence of God, both spiritually and emotionally. “It’s always fulfiling when you can usher people into the presence of God,” he remarked.

He also reflected on the sense of unity that the event demonstrated. “Coming together in such a manner to pray for prosperity shows how united we are as a kingdom.

“Personally, I believe in the communion of people to pray. The Bible says where two or three are gathered, there I am. Definitely, the presence of God came down, and I believe our prayers as a nation have been heard.”
