Mbabane Swallows attacking midfielder Leon Manyisa has become the third player to resign from the team in less than two weeks.
The former Manzini Wanderers player is said to have tendered his resignation letter yesterday.
He becomes the third player to resign after Siyabonga ‘Gusheshe’ Zwane and captain Kwakhe Thwala, who have also left the ‘Beautiful Birds’.
Both Manyisa and Thwala were present during the team’s recent MTN Premier League match where they lost to 0-1 to army side Young Buffaloes.

According to a reliable source, the player is said to have cited late salary delays as his reasons to resign from the club.
“What I know is that Manyisa has tendered his resignation. He handed the letter to the team’s Chairman Welile Mabuza today.”
The source said the player did not train with the rest of the players yesterday.
“I think Swallows people will confirm that Manyisa has resigned. I also heard that he might join Royal Leopard,” said the source.
The player could not be reached for comment when called as his cellphone was out of network.
Mbabane Swallows Public Relastions Officer Knowledge Mabuza confirmed that they received Manyisa’s resignation letter.
“I can confirm that Leon Manyisa has resigned from the team. He tendered his resignation today,” he said.
Concerned
Ngwenya said they would discuss the player’s resignation today.
“We are concerned about what is happening in the team and Manyisa’s resignation will be part of the agenda in our meeting tomorrow (today).
This is all I can say for now until our meeting with the management.”
Ngwenya said they were trying by all means to resolve a number of issues in the team.
“We cannot hide the fact that we are faced with a number of challenges but we are dealing with them,” he said.
