THE official prize handing over for Miss Eswatini 2024/25 is set for December 11, following the pageant's recent crowning.
This was revealed on Facebook, where the directors and sponsors, Oukitel, congratulated the winners.
Temvelo Mtsetfwa from Ndlalambi, Piggs Peak, emerged as the winner, alongside first runner-up Nowethu Motsa and second runner-up Sebakhona Clare Matisa on Saturday night.
The post recognised the efforts of all Top 10 contestants for their dedication throughout the competition which was a celebration of Eswatini’s vibrant culture and the remarkable talent of its women.
Oukitel further said the prize handing over event was set to bring together sponsors, contestants, officials, and invited guests to celebrate their experiences and discuss future opportunities.
They expressed gratitude to sponsors such as Portia M Skin Solutions, Sun International, Niwa Pearls, and all other partners, as well as to the Emaswati and others who supported the contestants throughout the journey.
As part of her prizes, Temvelo will receive the newly launched Jaecoo J7, to be handed off to her next week rather than at her crowning ceremony which was held at the Happy Valley on Saturday.
Additionally, she will be awarded a cash prize of E50 000, beauty products from Portia M, accommodation worth E32,000 from Sun City, luxury jewelry from Niwa Pearls, a Guess handbag, and perfumes from Kuwaiti sponsors.
These prizes will not only celebrate her victory but also equip her for her future endeavors as a youth ambassador in the country.
Miss Eswatini continues to empower young women, giving them a platform to showcase their talents, intelligence, and leadership skills.
The crowning of Temvelo Mtsetfwa marks the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey for the newly crowned queen as she steps into her role as an ambassador for the women of Eswatini.
