MISS ESWATINI GRAND PRIZE UPGRADE

By TANELE SIHLONGONYANE | 2024-11-27

THE new Miss Eswatini 2024 on Saturday will soon be seen behind the wheels of the recently launched Jaecoo J7.

The directors of Miss Eswatini 2024 pageant Oukitel Eswatini yesterday confirmed that they had upgraded the vehicle prize from the BMWi3 to the recently launched Jaecoo J7, readily available and distributed by Stucky Motors Eswatini.

The upgrade, according to Oukitel, was influenced by the impracticalities of maintaining a car without a dealership in the country.

The Top 10 contestants had the opportunity to view the vehicle at Stucky Motors in Moneni, enhancing their appreciation of the grand prize as they prepared for the Miss Eswatini finale at Happy Valley Hotel.

Some of the special features of the elegant and powerful Jaecoo J7 are its intelligent al-wheel drive system, its seven distinct driving modes - economy, standard, sport, sand, mud, snow, and off-road, its seven strategically placed safety airbags, avoidance automatic braking and more.

The upgrade of the grand prize has definitely enhanced the pageant’s appeal, providing a more practical and sustainable prize for the winner, keeping the competition exciting and relevant.

Chairperson of the Eswatini Beauty Pageant Associations Tony Dlamini expressed his gratitude to the sponsors, highlighting that they were investing in the future of the remarkable contestants and that their generosity reflected a commitment to excellence for the pageant.

“We are deeply grateful to the sponsors as their contributions go beyond financial support, they help in creating opportunities for young women to shine and grow.

We look forward to the grand finale where the most beautiful girl will win,” he said.
the last beauty queen to get a car was Miss Eswatini 2016/17 Linda Hutchinson, who was presented with a white VW polo valued at E70 000.
