'MANYOVU' OWED TWO MONTHS SALARY

By MELUSI MLOTSA | 2022-12-04

Soccer- More trouble!  Mbabane Highlanders reportedly owe their most prized asset Bonginkhosi 'Manyovu' Dlamini two-month salaries, including his E80 000 signing-on fee.

Highly placed sources close to the team revealed that the left footed winger is yet to get paid in the black and white outfit since joining them from Angolan outfit, Sagrada Esperance two months ago.

Reports suggest that the matter has been kept under wraps within the team structures.
“Manyovu has not been paid his signing- on fee yet, apart from the fact that he hasn’t received his salary since he joined the teams.

“The club’s management is sweeping dirt under the rug and these are some of the things letting down the team,” said the source.
Reached for comment, the team’s assistant manager, Makhosonkhe Gama, asked for time to verify the matter.

“I wasn't around. Would you please call me later to verify this matter?” he said.
Efforts were made later to reach Gama, however, his phone rang unanswered.

Meanwhile, Manyovu's phone also rang unanswered for the better part of the day.
The capital city giants will today hold a big meeting at CODEC, Ezulwini.

The team’s Managing Director, Chief Ally Kgomongwe, is expected to be part of the meeting.
The 2021/22 MTN Premier League runners-up will face new kids on the block, Seven Dreams in their upcoming match.
