Many have complained that pageants in Eswatini should be dissolved, especially after three years of no participation or activity and over a decade of not participating in international well-known pageants such as Miss World.

However this year, the association seemed to have gone back to the drawing board and fixed its mistakes.

Since the year began, all pageants were dissolved except for the Miss Cultural Heritage. This helped the association put together a team that would be able to prioritise the pageants and work hard to make them become respected and esteemed again.
