ALL NATIONS SCORES BIG AT LGMA

All Nation Church in Zion Choir scooped the most honours at the Lockdown Eswatini Gospel Music Awards held on Saturday evening at Woodlands Hall.

The group could not hide their excitement as they collected four awards at the event.

They scooped awards for the Best Male, Best Zion Group, Song of the Year and Best Gospel Group categories.

The show was also broadcasted live  on Facebook and on One Gospel.

Receiving their awards they shared how grateful and honoured they were to be nominated in all these categories.

Gospel music artists were over the moon after gospel awards were last hosted in 2016.

Some of the winners could not believe they won as they said they were not expecting to win.

Another big winner for the night was ‘Lona Ngumnyaka wetfu’ hit maker Linda Dlamini who received two awards.

Dlamini won the Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Artist. Speaking to the singer, he said winning two awards came as a surprise and he was grateful to everyone who supported and voted for him.

Award for the Best Contemporary Song went to singer Sands for his collaboration with legendary artist Tsepo Tshola. Sands dedicated the award to Tsepo Tshola. He also said he appreciated everyone who prayed for him and supports his music.

“Thank you to the organisers of the award show, the Christian community and gospel awards for the love and respect, God bless you,” he said.

The event was filled with happiness and amazing atmosphere as people looked beautiful in the evening dresses and suits.

Not only was the event filled with happiness and laughter but attendees had the opportunity to witness performances from some of the winners and nominees.

Performances from Shiba and the Travellers, Sphiwo Ndlangamandla, Novumelalo, Make Maculuve and many more were the highlight of the night. Guests were also treated to performances by Keinelo Hope from Mpumalanga.

Another winner who could not contain his happiness was Fakazi Samuel after he received his award for The Best Music Video.

He shared that this was his first ever award in Eswatini. With that, the singer said he was overwhelmed by the love and support he has received from his fans.

The nominees were also excited to have been part of the awards. Some of them shared how much they were honored to be nominated for this one of kind event.

  13. Best Music Video-Fakazi Samuel
  14. Best Mass Choir- Vessels of Praise
