SOCCER – HUB giants Manzini Wanderers will be boosted by the return of their Congolese wing wizard Mike Dombo ahead of their EswatiniBank Cup last 32 match against Rail United at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday.
The former Matsapha United player returned to the country on Wednesday evening from Mozambique, where he was trying his luck with Premier League sides Ferraviaro and Desportivo De Maxxele.
Dombo missed the ‘Weslians’ MTN Premier League clash which ended on a goalless draw two weeks ago.
Wanderers General Manager Berger Nxumalo confirmed the return of the player when contacted yesterday.
“It is true Dombo is back in the team and is training with the rest of the players,” he said
appealing
Dombo said he was looking forward to fight for his place in the team when reached yesterday.
“I am happy to be back and I want to help the team win matches. I am appealing to our supporters to come in their numbers to support the team and we promise not to disappoint them,” he said.
The maroon and white ensemble will also welcome their Benin-born anchorman Chaffiou Abbadou from suspension.
