Amazulu nation Prime Minister Mangosuthu Buthelezi has officially announced that Misuzulu Zulu is now the King, meaning he has moved within 24 hours from the status of preferred King to a King on the Throne. Details of his coronation have not been released, however on Friday night his ascension to the position of leader of the Zulu nation became clear during the reading of the will of his mother, the late Queen Mantfombi Dlamini-Zulu.
Earlier in the afternoon yesterday, it was reported that merely hours after he was whisked out of Kwakhangelamankengane palace after his ascension to the throne, Prince Misuzulu, the new king of the Zulu nation, was back in KwaZulu-Natal.
It was not clear when he came back, but his convoy which was used to whisk him out of the palace on Friday evening was seen parked in front of the main house within the compound.
Buthelezi further told other royal family members who were disgruntled that they were welcome to contest the will in court.
