4 BULL PLAYERS TO MISS GREEN MAMBA CLASH

SOCCER –  Capital city giants, Mbabane Highlanders camp resembles casualty ward ahead of their MTN League opener against  Green Mamba tomorrow at Somhlolo National Stadium.

Four of the team’s players are on treatment table are namely, South Africa born import defender, Punch Maselemela, top striker Josef Lekata, midfielder dynamo Mlamuli ‘Mlaba’Nkambule and centre back Jimmoh Moses.

The players are said to have incurred injuries during their last weekend matches at Somhlolo National Stadium where they thrashed hub giants, Manzini Wanderers 3-1 and eventual crowned the 2019 Telecom Charity Cup Champions.

When contacted yesterday, the team communications officer, Bhekisisa Dlamini confirmed that the four players will miss the league opener against Green Mamba.

He, however stated that the black and white outfit have enough depth to replace the injured players .

“We have registered about 24 players who are all ready to play for the team.

 As for tomorrow’s match we are ready to face our opponents. We know that they are defending champions but we will do everything to make our supporters happy,”he said.

Meanwhile, it   have been gathered that the 2019 Telecom Charity Cup Champions are working around the clock to sign Young Buffaloes attacking winger, Lindani ‘Rio’ Matsenjwa ahead of the encounter against the Correctional services side.
