IT’S indeed going to be a remarkable fest looking at the line-up of the Eswatini Festival Xplosion slated for July 27 at Dwaleni Farm Lodge.
Bholoja, Itallo and Judah have since been added to the Festival Xplosion line-up.
These three Eswatini trailblazers will be joining a list of both local and South African heavyweights such as Sjava, Prince KayBee, Nomalungelo D, Velemseni, DJ Wicked and DJ MBO.
This was revealed by the festival’s PRO Nontobeko Nxumalo yesterday.
According to Nxumalo, more artists will be revealed as the team is working hard to ensure that the festival delivers the best experience; an exciting and enthralling experience.
The trio needs no introduction in the industry.
Bholoja won the Best Selling Swazi Artist and Most Popular Swazi Artist at the Tihlabani Awards. He has shared the stage with notable music industry names such as: the late Hugh Masekela, Judith Sephuma, Jimmy Dludlu, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse and Tshepo Tsola, to name a few.
Itallo has released a number of albums, including one titled ‘Organic Passion’ and has successfully in the past, hosted his own jazz inspired concert in the country called ‘Itallo and Friends Live in Swaziland.’
Judah Silitshena is a pianist, songwriter, composer and producer whose love for jazz, latin and blues was inspired by childhood exposure to musical content by Jabu Khanyile, the late Hugh Mesekela, Tsepo Tshola, Joe Thomas and Boyz II Men. His talent has seen him play in South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia; sharing the stage with music industry heavyweights such as Tsepo Tshola and Joe Nina, to name a few. He was also an MTN SWAMA Awards nominee in the Best Afro Pop category.
Festival Xplosion is a fireworks, music, and food and lifestyle experience. Swazi, Portuguese, Indian, Chinese, and Game meat cuisines will be of indulgence for foodies. Exhibition stalls and children games will be recreational activities of the festival.
