BUNDLE OF JOKES WITH DR. SHAKES

By Setsabile Nkambule | 2019-04-20

It was a Friday filled with laughter at the Solani’s Shisanyama as people came in numbers to watch ‘BUNDLE OF JOKES’.

Performing on the night were Kedibone Malulaudzi from South Africa, K-LO from Botswana and local comedian Macola Maseko.

Opening the show was Macola Maseko and he set the bar high.  He talked of how women were not ones be turn to when one wanted to be told a story as they did not get to the point.

“The worst decision one could make is to decide to let a woman tell a story as they do not get to the point ever, they will keep on going in circles “, he said

K-LO brought his share of jokes too. He stated that in Botswana one would be able to live a whole week with just five liters of water and even go to the extent of even sharing with their neighbours. In an interview with the L&E desk he stated that with all his seven years of being a comedian the crowd at Solani’s was one of his best crowds. He said it was his first time coming to Eswatini and looked forward to come again.

Introducing Kedibone Malulaudzi was Dr Shakes who made a few jokes. One which was about Sakhile Nkambule and the Lamborghini he bought. He said Sakhile’s Lamborghini belonged to the nation as he owed everyone money.

“We are happy that Sakhile bought a Lamborghini with the money he owes to everyone. Sakhile owes everyone money so much that he may owe you and you wouldn’t even know”, he said

Kedibone was the crowd’s favourite as he interacted with the audience as time and again.   He told a story of himself and his son going to the Engen garage to buy milk  and arguing with ‘Triffina’  the cashier who did not want to bring back  his ten cent change.
