SOCCER – The much awaited Ingwenyama Cup Final pitting soccer giants Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Highlanders will be graced by the Republic of Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi at the Somhlolo National Stadium tomorrow.
Nyusi arrived in the country yesterday through the Matsapha Airport three days official visit.
Ingwenyama Cup pioneer His Majesty King Mswati III is also likely to grace the final for the fourth consecutive occasion.
This year’s tournament has seen three times champions Mbabane Swallows missing in the final for the first time since its inception in 2015.
Broadcast
The match will be broadcast live on Super Sport 10 and the entry fee is E50, with minors expected to pay E25.
The ministry of information communication and technology (ICT) confirmed that the Mozambique president will meet the Mozambican community at the George Hotel before watching the Ingwenyama Cup Finals at Somhlolo National Stadium tomorrow.
Nyusi is the first Head of State to watch the four-year competition blending football with culture.
Tickets for the final are already on sale at several outlets as 12 000 tickets have been allocated for the highly anticipated event.
The champions of the fourth edition will pocket E1.3 million while runners- up will take home E500 000.
