SWAZI Jive, under the directorship of Sakhile Nkambule, has given upcoming artists an opportunity to perform at the Hipnotik.
The entertainment stable has introduced ‘Who’s Got Next’ talent search competition show, which would take place at Woodlands Complex on April 13.
According to Nkambule, the show is aimed at giving artists a platform to showcase their talents, not only to the judges but Emaswati at large and an opportunity to perform in one of the biggest festivals in Eswatini; The Hipnotik Festival.
“Swazi Jive has always been about unearthing new talent and turning them into viable commercial artists. This is not new, just maybe the idea of doing it in this manner is,” he said.
He stated that he was expecting to meet loads of new talent.
He promised to bring big industry colleagues to help him judge and pick the best of the best
He advised people to be themselves.
“You don’t have to try impressing me or anyone.
“Just let your art speak for itself. We’ve been in the industry long enough to know what works and what doesn’t,” he mentioned.
To perform at the event will be SmokeyandWigo, Adrienne Foo, Marii Americ, LO and many more. The entry fee E50 and will be effective from 6pm.
