THE Change A Child’s Diet Foundation under the directorship of Mr Eswatini Coordinator Linda Chester will on January 25 host another charity cookout for the less-privileged children at the Ngwane Park soup kitchen in Manzini.
According to Chester, the aim was to lend a helping hand to the children in need.
“The purpose is to cook for the children, while we entertain them by providing games and playing alongside them and we will have motivational sessions; where we will try to inspire them,” he said.
Chester alongside Nomalungelo Mowele, who resides in Mpumalanga, South Africa currently working on finding sponsorships outside Eswatini, started this initiative last year in March as they saw the importance of a child’s well-being.
Operating
According to Chester, the foundation has helped not only children from Manzini and surroundings but rather has also gone as far as in Mbabane.
“We are quite a small foundation as we have only been operating for just a few months. We have worked with what we have to reach out where we can lend a helping hand,” he said.
Initiation
For the success of this event, the foundation has partnered with Pulse Entertainment models and the Safe Gang and Noisy Neighbours VW golf crew.
Chester pleaded with companies to support this initiation with anything they could as it would make a difference in the number of children they reach out to.
