SPMG Holdings has bagged an intention to award a tender contract of E502 673 from SWADE for the supply of potable water tanker services to resettled homesteads.
SPMG Holdings was not the only company to bid for this tender as three others; Conti Networks, Maqalf Transport and Commit Pty Ltd were contending for it. This contract is published in the Swaziland Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (SPPRA) website. SPMG Holdings’ intention to award contract, however, does not constitute a substantive contract as all tenderers can still submit applications to review for 10 working days commencing from April 17. SPMG Holdings had submitted a bidding price of E496 500 with an evaluated price of E502 673 while Conti Networks had submitted a bidding price of E881 935 with a similar evaluated price. Both Conti Networks and SPMG Holdings qualified for selection while Maqalf Transport and Commit Pty Ltd were disqualified. No reasons were advanced by the procuring entity for the disqualification of both companies.
