SOCCER – THE Malawi national Under-20 side will arrive in the country on Thursday afternoon for their 2019 AFCON Under-20 qualifier return leg encounter against Sihlangwana set for the Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday.
The Meck Mwase-led troops will enter country through Oshoek border post from Johannesburg where they will touch down at the OR Tambo International Airport.
National Football Association of Swaziland Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe said they would release updates of the return leg today.
“We are still working on logistics of the match and we will announce every detail (tomorrow) today. The squad is still in camp preparing for the match,” he said. The Dumisani ‘Du’ Makhanya-led troops will only need a1- 0 scoreline in order to advance to the next round of the continental junior competition to be held next year in Niger.
The junior national side played to a barren draw during the first leg encounter played two weeks ago at the Kamuzu Banda Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Referees for the match will come from the Seychelles and these are Nelson Emile Fred, who will be assisted by his two fellow countrymen in Gilbert Lista and Gerard Pool.
