SOCCER – MBABANE Swallo-ws lanky attacker Felix ‘Fela’ Badenhorst is amongst the top goal scorers in the CAF Cham-pions League.

The Birds attacking midfielder has visited the net in each of the three games they have played so far in the tournament, totalling his goals to three.

‘Fela’ scored his first goal during the first leg of the preliminary round clash against Bantu FC played at the Setsoto Stadium last month.

He also scored in the second leg of the tie hosted by the local giants at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

The player also netted the team’s first’s goal in their 2-1 victory Zambian side Zanaco FC at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka on Wednesday.

Badenhorst is two goals behind the current leading top goal scorer Hamid Ahaddad of club Difaa El Jaddi of Morroco, who scored five goals in the first leg of their preliminary round clash against Sport Bissau en Benfica of Ginue Bissau where the team recorded a 10-0 victory. Tied on four goals are Zikuru Adams of Zesco United, Simon Msuva of Difaa El Jaddi and MC Alger’s Hichem Nikkache.

The Birds star is tied on the third position with five other players.
