SA’S MS COSMO FOR DéJà VU RE-LAUNCH

THE classy and elegant Déjà Vu Cocktail Lounge is set for a re-launch on February 23.

Bringing back the lounge’s spirit will be South African lady spinner Ms Cosmo, well known from Channel O.

According to a statement issued to this publication, the DJ will be on the turn- tables with Supa CDQ, DJ Cece, Lungster, Fantacy, 1D and Master P.

The show will commence at 7 pm till late.

“Dress code is smart causal. Strictly no caps, shorts, vests and sandals allowed,” read the statement.

Entrance fee is E60 before midnight and E 100 after midnight.

Ms Cosmo is arguably South African’s hottest female hip hop DJ at present.

As the first and only female DJ on Channel O Bassment, Ms Cosmo has quickly made her mark on the continent and gained respect in the hip hop community at large.

Her knowledge of and interest in music, makes her the ideal choice when looking for quality mixing or deejaying skills.

Ms Cosmo was previously a weekly live mix DJ for YFM’s #YTKO feature. She is currently a 5FM radio presenter and her weekly hip hop show, ‘The Stir Up’ has gained considerable popularity amongst hip hop fanatics throughout the country. Ms Cosmo also provides a weekly mix on Euphonik’s ‘Ultimix Weekend Edition’ show on 5FM in addition to her weekly video mix for Channel O’s ‘Bassment’ programme.

Ms Cosmo has played alongside the likes as DJ Fresh, DJ Euphonik, Black Coffee, DJ Kent, DJ Mzi, DJ Dimplez, The Naked DJ, DJ VigiLante, DJ Naves, DJ SPHEctacula, DJ Franky, Lulo Café, DJ VOODOO, DJ Choice, DJ Switch, DJFanatic, Dope Jocks, DJ Capital, DJ Speedsta, DJ Shimza, Josi Chave, DJ ZanD and Just Mo.

Ms Cosmo has also been part of the opening line ups for international artists such as Chris Brown, Kanye West, D’Banj and 2 Chainz.
