Despite the ‘Jan-worry’ vibe, it seems like patrons cannot wait for the ‘Gqom kings; Distraction Boyz as over 250 tickets were sold in a week.

This was revealed by one of the organisers of the show Vusi Dlamini yesterday.

Dlamini  said  since the  show  was announced  to  the public,  it has received a resounding  resource as they have  sold over 250 tickets  within a week despites the ‘Jan-worry’ situation that everyone is weeping about.

“Pre-sale tickets are almost sold out, so we encourage fun lovers to purchase at the gate in that case. Over 250 tickets have been sold within a week.


 Tickets have also been made available at Havana Lounge in Manzini because of the constant demand,” he said.  Dlamini also revealed that controversial rapper Illa PenBoy and Themba Xaba popularly known as ‘Mthimbawawa’ will be directing the proceedings of the show.

  There will be also a meet and greet session for the gqom kings’ fans.

“Distruction Boyz will be doing a meet and greet tomorrow at Destiny Music at 3pm and Destiny Music Manzini at 5pm, go meet the Gqom Kings and say hello.

“Touch of soul will also be setting up a TOS Gazibo for fun lovers who desire to support the local brand. The event will commence at 6p.m until the next morning.  We have also added DJ MBO,  DJ Liz, Bee and Khulu to the line up,”  Dlamini said.

 According to the interviewed organiser, Distraction Boyz will be coming with a Durban surprise act to give fun lovers a night they will not forget.
