SOCCER - MBABANE Swallows’ title sponsor, Eclipse Investments, is carefully evaluating its future with the club following recent changes in its management structure.
Eclipse Investments Marketing Manager Temalangeni Dlamini confirmed that the company is yet to decide on the continuation of its partnership with the capital city giants, now under the leadership of Princess Lungile, who is in the process of appointing a new management committee (MC).
Meet
“We are yet to meet to decide about the way forward in terms of our partnership with Mbabane Swallows. In light of the recent changes that have occurred at the club, we have to see the best course of action for both organisations,” she said.
Dlamini emphasised that Eclipse would adopt a diplomatic approach while the club stabilises under its new leadership. The company is waiting for the situation to resolve fully before making a final decision about its support.
Addressing concerns about taking sides during the club’s internal disputes, Dlamini clarified Eclipse’s neutral stance.
“We were only learning of the club disputes through the media, and we had no idea what was going on, to be honest. However, Swallows are a professional organisation we were confident would handle their own internal issues without external intervention.
We are not taking any sides on the matter and only want what is best for us and the club,” she added.
Eclipse Investment has been a crucial partner for not only Mbabane Swallow but other sporting codes in the country, providing significant support that has helped the team succeed both on and off the field.
Swallows fans and stakeholders will be closely watching how this develops, as Eclipse’s decision could play a pivotal role in shaping the club’s fortunes moving forward.
